Bend, OR – Team TIBCO/To the Top opened the Cascade Classic with a strong demonstration of the team’s depth. JULY 10, 2010 - Grand Rapids, MI - Cheatley Holds Off Van Gilder for Second!

Joanne Kiesanowski (Tibco-To the Top) won a two-woman sprint against her late-race breakaway companion and NRC leader Cath Cheatley (Colavita-Baci) to capture a victory at the Grand Cycling Classic held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Laura van Gilder (Mellow Mushroom) won the bunch sprint for third place.

JUNE 21, 2010 - Nevada City, CA – Megan Guarnier of Team TIBCO/To the Top took 2nd place at the Nevada City Classic, a day after she wrapped up the overall omnium title of the Tour de Nez after taking 2nd in the third stage at Northstar at Tahoe.

JUNE 20, 2010 - Stillwater, MN–Team TIBCO/To the Top won the overall team competition after a hard Stillwater Criterium, the final stage of the Nature Valley Grand Prix.

JUNE 19, 2010 - Menomonie, WI – Brooke Miller of Team TIBCO/To the Top took 1st in the bunch sprint to earn 3rd place on the fifth stage of the Nature Valley Grand Prix Saturday. Erinne Willock (Webcor Builders) and Linda Villumsen (HTC-Columbia) had escaped the front group late in the hilly, 77-mile race to contest the stage honors. JUNE 16, 2010 - St. Paul, MN – Alison Starnes of Team TIBCO/To the Top showed that her form is on the ascent ahead of the U.S. National Championships next week by taking her first ever NRC win in the opening time trial of the Nature Valley Grand Prix this morning.
Starnes powered over the 6.1 km course, the last 800 meters of which climbs Ohio Street, in 14:38, 0:04 and 0:07 ahead of HTC-Columbia teammates Linda Villumson and Evelyn Stevens, respectively. Read More...
JUNE 13, 2010 - Joelle Numainville (Webcor Builders) won the first edition of the Grand Prix Gatineau on Sunday in a crash-filled sprint. Numainville avoided the crash in the final 500 metres and held off late efforts by Jo Kiesanowski (TIBCO) and Modesta Vzesniauskaite (Colavita Baci) to win the UCI 1.1 race in her home province.

JUNE 12, 2010 - Brooke Miller of Team TIBCO/To the Top took a strong sprint victory at the Clarendon Cup Saturday. Miller out-sprinted veteran Laura Van Gilder (Mellow Mushroom) & Erica Allar (Team Vera Bradley) for the win at the end of the 50-lap, 50 km race.

JUNE 6, 2010-Philadelphia, PA–The six rider squad from Team TIBCO/To the Top rode aggressively from the start of the 93 km Liberty Classic, with Australian National Champion Ruth Corset one of the early agitators. Corset attacked on the first lap and began securing Queen of the Mountain points the first time up the Manayunk Wall and Lemon Hill, en route to securing the QoM competition. A crash-marred final stage of the Joe Martin Stage Race saw a minor re-shuffling of the general classification for Team TIBCO/To the Top. Alison Starnes, 3rd overall coming into the final day, got caught up behind a crash & burned a few too many matches chasing & despite regaining the front group, lost contact toward the end of the race on the hard, hilly course. May 08, 2010 - St. Salvy, France – Two-thirds of Team TIBCO’s Tour de l’Aude squad took the start of the St. Salvy de la Balme race in France today. They also took the finish, as Ruth Corset and Brooke Miller slipped away from the field early and help on for 1st and 2nd respectively, while Emma Mackie also got away late to take 3rd place. Team TIBCO/To the Top was a constant presence at the front of the GP Stad Roeselare (UCI 1.1) last Sunday, figuring in the main break of the day, and mixing it up in the sprint finish. Joanne Kiesanowski was the team’s top finisher in 7th place, but her placing didn’t reflect the influence the team had on the race. “The girls are racing great,” team directeur sportif Chris Georgas stated simply. Brooke Miller of Team TIBCO/To the Top continued her strong riding on the European tour, taking advantage of exceptional teamwork to finish 4th in the bunch sprint at the end of the 141km Ronde van Gelderland in Holland Saturday. Ninove, BEL – Team TIBCO/To the Top made a solid start to its spring European campaign under extremely difficult conditions at the Tour of Flanders Sunday. Brooke Miller survived the wind, occasional rain and hazardous riding conditions created by slick cobbles and a nervous peloton to take 13th place in the race known to race fans simply as The Ronde.

Rebecca Much did exactly what she needed to do to secure the overall title of the Tucson Bicycle Classic Sunday. “I just kept thinking that if I can win this stage I can win the overall,” she said.
She timed her sprint on the uphill finish to perfection, going 100 meters from the line to take the win in the circuit race, and secure the 10-second time bonus she needed to make up the seven-second deficit she had to the race leader going into the stage. Read More...
The 2010 season got off to a strong start for Team TIBCO. Ten riders went straight from its training camp near Santa Barbara to Merced, CA to open its season with the Snelling Road Race and Merced Criterium this weekend. They came away with two wins, as well as two more podiums.

Pescadero, California – With its new status as a UCI-registered women’s cycling team, Team TIBCO/To the Top has added several top-performing international riders as well as a number of younger, up-and-coming riders, to an experienced returning core that includes 2009 U.S. National Road Champion Meredith Miller and 2008 Road and Criterium National Champion Brooke Miller. The team will look to build on its 2009 NRC Championship season, making its first foray into Europe in the spring. Read More...
