A very Happy Anniversary to Karen and Courtney who just celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary! This happy couple enjoyed a truly unique and special “wedding on wheels”, with the entire wedding party plus the guests decked out in semi-custom jerseys ordered from VeloWear for the occasion. They did a fantastic job on the design!
Here’s a description of the happy event:
The wedding was April 25, 2009. We just celebrated our 1st anniversary riding on the Cal Coast 2010 tour and had the opportunity to stop by VeloWear where our wedding jerseys were born. I proposed to Karen in September, 2008. Since 
we're both avid cyclists, we quickly decided that bicycles should be a key component in our wedding. After all, we met on bicycles about 6 years earlier and became fast friends.
It took several months of playing with different ideas to get the details figured out. We've always enjoyed the Voler jerseys we've received while riding on the ShadowTour Century rides by ST Productions... they fit both of us perfectly. So we decided to outfit our wedding "peloton" with custom wedding jerseys for everyone who would ride with us. Your staff was excellent and made the semi-custom process easy and enjoyable. The jerseys arrived on
schedule and were perfect for us. The whole deal was less expensive than a single wedding dress, and a whole lot more fun.
So, one year ago, we started our wedding procession ride in Carlsbad, 
CA. Leading a group of 30+ friends and family we headed to a Pacific overlook in the San Onofre Campgrounds. The core group made a 40 mile roundtrip and we had a "beginner" option of 12 miles for less experienced riders. I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had that day. Take a look at some of the smiles on the faces of the riders in the attached pictures, and you'll get a general idea of the feeling. It was completely unique. A cycling friend of ours who is also an ordained minister married us, and we're
living happily ever after. Thanks for VeloWear's part and that of your staff in making our wedding cycling dream a reality.
